A real PTY. Split panes. AI CLIs one keystroke away.
This is the terminal we actually use.
OZO Terminal is a native Linux desktop app (Tauri + xterm.js) for people who live in the shell with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Grok and friends. Not a web SSH toy. Not a host inventory. A fast, themed, split-pane terminal with a command palette, workspaces, git in the status bar, and optional lo-fi while you type.
The default terminal is a blank rectangle
- Twelve untitled tabs, no idea which one is the dev server.
- AI CLIs launched from memory:
claude, wait, was itcodex? - No git branch until you type
git statusfor the fortieth time today. - Themes, ligatures, splits — bolted on, if at all.
Meet OZO Terminal
Open it and you get a real shell. Split right or down. Broadcast a command to every pane.
Hit Ctrl+Shift+P for the palette — themes, music, tabs, AI, snippets.
The AI Hub probes your machine for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Qwen Code and Grok CLI
and launches the one that's actually installed. Workspaces live in a sidebar. Git branch and dirty
state sit on the status bar. Dev-server URLs get detected and one-click opened.
Made for people like you
The vibe coder
Lo-fi on, Synthwave '84, Claude in a split, cargo in the other. That's a session.
The AI-CLI hopper
Six assistants in the hub. New tab asks which CLI to spawn. No more hunting binaries.
The pane maximalist
Grid columns, duo layout, zoom a pane, broadcast to all. Built for people who split first.
Why not just… GNOME Terminal + a wiki?
